How It Started
Like many good ideas, explorea.city came from frustration.
After spending hours researching restaurants for a trip to Barcelona, only to end up at tourist traps, we realized: there had to be a better way.
Locals know their cities intimately. They know which restaurants locals actually eat at, which bars have the best vibes, which museums are worth visiting.
But there was no simple way to access this knowledge. And locals had no incentive to share it.
So we built explorea.city. A marketplace where locals can turn their knowledge into income, and travelers can access authentic recommendations instantly.
